Spun-off from being a LED Screen signboard and its component business unit of Samsung SDI in 1998,
Vissem expanded its business by developing new technologies and highly reliable products.
In the following year of the spinoff, Vissem won a contract with ALSTOM TRANSPORT to supply onboard
electronic control equipment for KTX high-speed trains. In 2006, the company expanded its business area to fiber optic components.

In 2014, Vissem acquired Dongyang Telecom to expand its business into CATV transmission and optical network equipment. Then in 2020, the acquisition of B&F Materials, a bonding material specialty company, helped Vissem bolster its position as a trusted material specialty company from customers around the world.

Vissem has been publicly traded on KOSDAQ since 2012, and its employees are working diligently to earn the customers' trust to grow together.
