Introduction of the institute and its main tasks

We conduct the research and development of LED display modules, controllers, operation software, connection boxes, terminal boxes, distribution panels, other line materials necessary for an optical network, terrestrial wave, satellite broadcasting, HFC, and RF overlay transmission network transmission equipment used for wired and wireless broadcasting communication

With the emergence of new business models such as next-generation information and communication business strategies, IT paradigm changes, and digital convergence emerging as ubiquitous businesses, optical communication network systems are becoming more sophisticated and intelligent. , it is necessary to develop products that emphasize convenience, and we are also entering the wired and wireless broadcasting transmission field to secure development manpower and technology to provide superior signal quality.

Lab Features

  • Advanced research and development of LED light source, LED display element technology, and technical support of system application method according to the use of digital billboards and image controllers

  • Responsible for developing new products by collecting and evaluating product functions demanded by the market, designing suitable products, managing product molds, ensuring prototype reliability, and conducting tests to meet standards.

  • HFC transmission network research and product development, premises CATV equipment development, public office head-end system development

Research field

  • Research on the LED light source and LED display module optimized for the use environment, and on the energy-efficient LED billboard system applying energy-saving technology
  • Based on the acquired knowledge focusing on optical communication technology, FTTH network construction technology, optical cable, and optical communication parts, develop the materials and structures to protect optical junctions, optical path connection/distribution/transfer structure designs, low-cost, high-quality optical junction boxes, optical distribution panels, optical terminal boxes, and more.
  • Research and develop transmission equipment and transmission/reception systems to provide a total solution for MATV (master antenna) / SMATV (satellite), HFC (optical, coaxial mixed network) network, and RFoG (RF over Glass) / RF overlay
